Welcome to the Gopher Campfire Conservation Club

Welcome to the Gopher Campfire Conservation Club’s website! Our goal is to establish the Gopher Campfire Conservation Club as one of the most respected and influential organizations in the area, dedicated to the conservation and promotion of outdoor activities.

Founded in April 1910 by Carlos Avery and Sam Anderson, the Gopher Campfire Conservation Club is nestled approximately 6.5 miles North of Hutchinson, MN at 24718 County Road 7 (Bear Lake Road). The Gopher Campfire Conservation Club is driven by a commitment to conserve, restore, and manage the game, fish, and other wildlife and their habitats.

Our aim is to procure improved hunting and fishing opportunities for landowners and sportsmen, while also fostering interest in hunting, shooting, archery, and fishing. We prioritize safety education and aim to provide social and friendly interactions among our members, as well as the general public.
