Member in Good Standing Scholarship Basic Rules

This Scholarship is available to children (high school seniors & post-secondary students) of Gopher Campfire Club members in good standing.

Member in good standing is defined as, but not limited to, the following;
• Must be a current member.
• Must be a member for a minimum of 3 consecutive years
• Must volunteer or at least be willing to participate in club events and/or shooting leagues.

Scholarships will be a minimum of $250.00 and a maximum of $500.00 depending on the number of applicants and funds available annually.

The maximum dollar amount available each year is determined by the net income of the previous fall’s “Scholarship Shoot”.

In the event there are more applicants than funds available, scholarships will be awarded via a random drawing of all qualified applicants.

A check will be written to each scholarship winner after an official transcript from the fall semester is turned in to Gopher Campfire, showing proof the student attended a place of secondary education.

All applications must be received on or before the end of June each year.

Scholarships will be awarded in mid-August. Recipients will be notified shortly after that date.
